What is the Marvel universe without superheroes? These superhuman characters are a part of our everyday lives, whether they’re saving us from danger or simply helping us out at home. Each Avenger has its unique power, and they all play an important role in the Marvel Universe.
While some Avengers are born into their roles of superheroes, others join them later on. Some even choose to retire after decades of fighting crime. Nowadays, the Avengers franchise is the biggest movie series of all time. They’ve also become a major source of inspiration to other Hollywood stars. Here’s a look at the Top Ten Avengers.
1) Captain America

His story and character resonated with people around the world and he soon became one of the biggest comic book characters of all time (with his solo series being the longest-running title ever). What makes him special is that he’s been a hero for everyone since day one. As a soldier who fought in World War II, he had a moral compass that inspired many readers. When he returned home, he wanted to do good and help others; making him a true leader for generations of fans. Whether it’s comic book artists, filmmakers, musicians, and even politicians, Captain America means something different to everyone. Even though he may be fictional, Captain America’s ideals resonate with people everywhere. That’s what makes him so great. While he may only appear in stories, his message remains relevant across cultures, languages, and generations. He stands for hope and justice no matter where you live or what language you speak. And now, he’s here to take over your heart!

Ant-Man was born on July 17th, 1957 in San Francisco, California, USA and he is a fictional character who appears in Marvel Comics publications and films. He first appeared in Tales To Astonish 48 (June 1962) in the story titled “The Man Who Stole Ants!” written by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. In his first appearance, he is a scientist named Scott Lang who becomes shrunken down to the size of an ant after being exposed to radiation. After shrinking, Scott uses the powers of ants and their colonies to fight crime.
His costume consists of tight-fitting red tights that cover him completely except for his face, hands and feet. As well in his suit, he wears matching boots. His belt contains a miniature radio transmitter and antennae. These two devices allow him to communicate with ants and use them as tools. His name comes from combining the words “Ant”, meaning small insect, and “-man”, meaning man. Because of his size, Ant-man is unable to perform many activities that normal people can do. He cannot run fast enough to catch criminals and cannot fly far enough to escape danger. However, despite these limitations, Ant-man possesses some extraordinary abilities. He can withstand great heights and pressures while at the same time possessing superhuman strength, speed and agility.
He is also capable of producing an invisible force field around himself which protects him from damage. Scott Lang’s powers are similar to those of Spider-Man and Captain America, although he lacks any superhuman attributes apart from his ability to shrink.
Ant-man first appeared in the comic book series Tales to Astonish in issue 48 (June 1962), published by Marvel Comics. He was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. According to Kirby, Lee always wanted to draw a superhero whose powers were not related to flight or special weaponry, but instead who could only affect small things. Kirby drew the initial concept of Ant-man after visiting Disneyland and seeing the giant ants roaming near the attraction’s Matterhorn Bobsleds. In addition to his ant colony powers, Ant-man is a physicist and chemist who can produce various inventions using his knowledge of chemistry and physics. He was originally depicted as a member of the Avengers, but since then has been featured in several solo adventures. He has had three different costumes over the years.
The original design was based on a superhero design Kirby had sketched earlier, but he later changed it to resemble a regular person with long hair. This version remained until 1968. When Kirby left Marvel due to declining sales, Lee reworked the character’s look, eliminating the longer hair, and giving him an updated costume. In this version, Ant-man became much closer to how he would eventually appear on the screen. A subsequent redesign in 1976 returned the character to his original look, but this time with a more realistic physique.
Ant-man began appearing in live-action television shows and movies beginning in 2008. He debuted in Ultimate Avengers 2, where he was voiced by David Kaye. In the film, Ant-man is shrunk down to the size of a single ant and is given a suit that enables him to control insects and communicate with them. He uses this power to defeat the villain Ghost Rider. Ant-man next appears in the 2011 movie The Green Hornet, portrayed by Bruce Willis. Here, he works alongside Britt Reid, played by Kato, to defend the city of San Francisco from a criminal organization called Spectrum. In the 2012 sequel The Green Hornet, Ant-man is portrayed by Michael Peña. This version of the character is shown as a high school student who finds out about his powers when an angry classmate shrinks him down to size. Ant-Man appeared as a supporting character in Thor: The Dark World. He helps the Asgardian heroes defeat Frost Giants in exchange for helping him recover parts from Sakaar. He reappears with the rest of the Avenger team in 2018’s Avengers: Endgame, played by Evangeline Lilly.
10) Dr. Strange
Dr Stephen Strange is a character from Marvel Comics. He was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He first appeared in 1963’s Strange Tales 110 (August-September), published by Marvel Comics.
The character subsequently appears in several different series, including Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme, Dr Strange: Master of the Mystic Arts, Strange Tales II, Secret Defenders, Strange Tales III, and Dark Phoenix Saga.
Stephen Strange was born in Greenwich Village, New York City, in 1943. His parents were both scientists, who encouraged him to study medicine. After graduating from Columbia University Medical School, he trained as a surgeon at Barnes Hospital, where his mentor was neurosurgeon Doctor Harold Spencer, the head of brain surgery. In 1967, he became addicted to painkillers, which led to a nervous breakdown and he was forced to resign his position at a hospital. Later, he moved to Tibet with his girlfriend, Christine Palmer, whom he met while she was working as a nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospice. He began practising Tibetan Buddhism and meditated extensively. While meditating, he received a vision of a sorcerer battling demons and realized that he had no real talent for healing or surgery. He left Christine to pursue training in mystic arts.
Strange wears a distinctive uniform consisting of a white kurta/tunic, pants, boots, turban and cloak. His outfit resembles that of a traditional Tibetan monk. He wears a red scarf around his neck and carries a ceremonial staff. He also uses rings as magical tools.
He has brown hair; however, some sources describe him as bald due to his use of magic, as seen in the pages of the comics.
In recent years, Stephen Strange has been depicted as beil and slender, similar to the portrayal of the Dalai Lama.
As a Sorcerer Supreme, Strange possesses various mystical abilities derived from his mastery of sorcery. These powers vary depending upon his current state of mind – for example, before undergoing rigorous mental and physical training, he could not perform any spells. However, after learning how to control and channel the mystic energies within himself, he was able to cast powerful spells, including telekinesis, levitation, teleportation, time travel, space flight, illusion casting, creation of force fields and even resurrection. He is capable of using his magical abilities to bend matter and reality at will, alter the past, create portals, and summon various creatures. In addition to these, he has developed the ability to fly over great distances across the face of the Earth, although he prefers to walk. Strange can also project his psychic aura to affect others, and sometimes uses his powers to shield others from harm, or even heal them.
According to the comic book storylines, Strange’s magical abilities have grown stronger over the years, and he now exhibits many more powers than he did in his early career. Such powers include a heightened sense of awareness, superhuman strength, stamina, endurance, speed, agility, reflexes, concentration, perception, and clairvoyance. He is also immune to ordinary forms of injury or disease.
After leaving Tibet, DrStrange came back to New York City and opened a clinic for the treatment of psychological conditions. He became famous among the city’s occultists and soon attracted many patients. When his former student Christine Palmer arrived in New York, they began dating. She knew about his condition and suggested to him that he should take advantage of his newfound magical powers to help people. He refused her advances but eventually agreed to go out on dates with her. Eventually, they fell in love and got married.
While visiting his friend Alonzo Rosenheim in Los Angeles, Strange learned that Alonzo had lost his sight. Alonzo then asked Strange to become his guardian angel and assist him in seeing again. Strange accepted the offer. He travelled to Tibet and assisted Alonzo to recover his eyesight through meditation. When he returned to America, he discovered that Christine had fallen ill. Overcome with guilt about her death, he decided to leave his wife and return to Tibet.
