Though this news was in and around the corners everywhere, there wasn’t any official confirmation that the Justice League Actor Ray Fisher is no more part of the DCEU. But, the actor is denying this news and alleges that DC Films is spreading this news to distract the people from the allegation he made earlier last year against Walter Hamada, head of DC films. This series of an allegation doesn’t see to stop soon because WarnerMedia has said that they are confident with the news and requests the actor to move on from what happened in the past.
Now, the fans seem a bit confused because they don’t know exactly about the authenticity of the news from both ends, and they expect that the actor Ray Fisher should be part of the series always. The DCEU’s film The Flash Film, which has been written by Cyborg, says that currently, they haven’t planned to recast Fisher. But, Fisher says that he hasn’t stepped down from the role, and according to him, he is still part of the movie.
What exactly is wrong with DCEU and Ray Fisher?
In July last year, if you would recall, Ray Fisher accused the director of the film, Justice League- Joss Whedon, that the behavior of the director on the sets was toxic. Ray Fisher didn’t stop there and made allegations on both Geoff Johns and Jon Berg that they turned a deaf ear when these things were on happening on the sets of Justice League. Also, the actor took on social media that Hamada was interfering with the investigation. The investigation started out when Fisher had made the following allegations, the investigation call was also welcomed by the actor, but it seemed after some time that he wasn’t satisfied with the way the investigation was taking place.
But, with this mess that is currently happening around, that doesn’t seem that the issue is now resolved, but it is said that the investigation to the Justice League case has been completed. But, owing to the origin of this incident proves that though the cases have been completed and closed in judicial viewpoint, in reality, it hasn’t been closed till now. Fisher takes no time to prove everything is good with his end by saying that all the news is baseless, and it is part of the propaganda of the Hamada, who leads the DC Films to distract people from the actual facts. According to Ray Fisher, The Wrap is also part of this false news propaganda against him by the filmmakers.
Response to the Allegations Made
In response to the tweets by Ray Fisher, the WarnerMedia released an official statement through The Wrap, stating that the news and reports have been acquired by the third party firm and advised the actor to move on in life by forgetting what had happened between them in the past. The response from the WarnerMedia on The Wrap didn’t include any counter-response for the allegations for Hamada that the actor made against them. Thinking, it is not the place to discuss these sorts of things; these things must be sorted out one to one, and it is always believed to avoid these kinds of conversation on the internet and specifically on Social Media. Also, the statement didn’t have anything about the report that states the Cyborg has been written out of The Flash film.
Recently, we also came to know that Hamada’s association with DC Films has now been extended to 2023. That isn’t a good thing for Ray Fisher; because this is what he didn’t want, nor did he expected anything as such. The issue now seems to never end because, in response to the statement by the WarnerMedia on The Wrap, the actor will be coming up with a new counter-reaction then from the other end after this follows. WarnerMedia says that the actor must move on seems to be more practical because that will solve all these issues, and more importantly, fans will be delighted to see the actor back.
