Kelly Piquet was born in the German city of Homburg. Her father is Nelson Piquet, a Brazilian racing driver and three-time Formula One World Champion, and her mother is Sylvia Tamsma, a Dutch model. Born into a family of racers, racing always piqued her interest! She grew up in the south of France for most of her youth. She relocated to Brazil when she was 12 years old and stayed there until 15 years old. Piquet then went to France, where he stayed for another year before traveling to England to attend a boarding school. Piquet studied International Relations at Marymount Manhattan College with political science and economics. Kelly did an internship in fashion during college and opted to stay in the industry. She worked for various places ranging from Vogue to Bergdorf Goodman, KCD Public Relations, and Marie Claire magazine as a columnist.
Piquet began dating Daniil Kvyat in January 2017, who also happens to be a racer. They had a daughter together, Penelope, born on July 27, 2019. The love died young in December of the same year. Now she is dating the household name of F1 fans! Max Emilian Verstappen was born on 30 September 1997. Max is a Belgian-Dutch racing driver who competes in Formula One for Red Bull Racing under the Dutch flag. He became the youngest driver to participate in Formula One when he was 17 years old at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix. Verstappen is the 2021 Formula One World Champion and the son of former Formula One driver Jos Verstappen.
Just like his last name, Max has never stopped racing every track he takes on. After spending the 2015 season with Scuderia Rosso, Max began the 2016 season with a new team. He was a part of the Italian team before being promoted to parent team Red Bull Racing as a replacement for Daniil Kvyat after four races. Max won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix on his Red Bull Racing debut at 18 years old. He has 19 additional victories as of the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, along with the first place for a Honda-powered driver since 2006. He bagged third place in both the 2019 and 2020 championships. After signing a contract extension, Verstappen is expected to stay at Red Bull until at least the conclusion of the 2023 season. The whole world was rooting for Max not only for his skills but his undeniably good looks, giving them the whole “boy-next-door” vibes.
My World Champion:
Kelly Piquet showed off her beau to the world as soon as he became the world champion after the race. She captioned the photo “My World Champion.” celebrating the moment her boyfriend beat Lewis Hamilton after a tight race! Kelly posted more than a dozen photos commemorating Verstappen’s victory. The couple started dating last October, and from all, we can see, their relationship is going more vital than ever.
A Dramatic Turn Of Events:
After overtaking the Red Bull driver Max Verstappen at the first corner of the race, Lewis Hamilton led the whole race and completely controlled it. Still, a safety car in the closing moments allowed him to grab the title from the British driver’s hands. Enraged by a safety car’s involvement costing the racer an F1 World Championship, Lewis Hamilton’s team wants to dispute the issue at court.
Before William’s driver Nicholas Latifi crashed into the wall during a tight run with Haas’ Mick Schumacher, he was only five laps from the finish of the Grand Prix, Hamilton appeared to be on his way to a record-equaling eighth title. A real-life dramatic turn has cost the runner up a great deal. Initially, a virtual safety car was summoned to the rescue, Verstappen and Red Bull have wittily taken advantage of the opportunity to pit and change to fresh soft tires. At the same time, Hamilton was forced to maintain track position and continue failing hard tires. He blames his rough edges for losing out on speed.
Despite the heated turmoil on the racetrack, Kelly Piquet did not shy away from running to her champion boyfriend, quickly proving to be his No. 1 fan! Verstappen lovingly kissed his girlfriend and took the stage to collect his trophy!
