Tarrio is not allowed to use Twitter after being banned by the social media platform. He was involved in spearing violent activities through Twitter, after which the platform baned his first account. Later he came up with another Twitter account which too was banned. At the age of 20, Tarrio was convicted of theft. Following which he was sentenced to Community service and three years of probation. He was also asked to pay restitution. Again, he was sentenced to 30 months of imprisonment for reselling stolen medical services.
