To some who argue that Mr. Dulos’ death implies a sense of guilt, his solicitor responded that it does not. Fotis died by suicide in February 2020. He feels it was a conscience overburdened by the weight of responsibility and that the world was too preoccupied to hear or understand. The internet lets out a sigh of dismay. For those unfamiliar with Fotis, he is the Connecticut real estate mogul accused of murder in the death of his former wife. He died two days after attempting suicide at his house in a New York City hospital. In conjunction with the disappearance in May of his wife, Jennifer Dulos, whose corpse has never been recovered, he was taken into custody this month with premeditated murder and abduction.
Fotis Dulos’ lawyer revealed his family had traveled from Greece and then had decided to donate his organs. He emphasized that the family wants Fotis’ name cleared. When she vanished in May 2019, the Duloses, who had five children together, were involved in a difficult and stretched separation and child custody battle.

What Happened To Fotis?
Dulos tried to commit suicide at his Farmington home, where he was on house arrest, after learning that he would be going to trial for an emergency hearing to settle a disagreement with the $6 million bonds he had paid. He was airlifted from a hospital and then transported to one in New York, where he was placed in a hyperbaric chamber for oxygen therapy. His condition was described as “dire.”

The Note:
A note signed by Dulos was also discovered by the police. “If you see this, I am no longer alive,” it said. It went on to say that he didn’t have to spend another hour in prison for something that he had had no participation in.
Dulos wrote to Anna Curry at the end of the letter, apologizing and pleading for forgiveness since he couldn’t continue fighting.

Jennifer Dulos:
Jennifer Dulos was born on September 27, 1968, in Los Angeles, California. She is a 24-year-old American lady missing since May 24, 2019. Officials believe she was slain at her home in Connecticut in a vicious attack. The suspect is her former husband. In connection with Jennifer’s absence, her husband, Fotis Dulos, and his lover, Michelle Troconis, were imprisoned on allegations of evidence tampering and hindering indictment.

The Disappearance:
Jennifer was last spotted leaving her children off at school approximately around 8:00 a.m. on May 24, 2019, and then returning home at 8:05 a.m. on a neighbor’s surveillance video. She skipped doctor’s visits on the same day. After failing to reach her, two of her friends, including her nanny Lauren Almeida, filed her missing report at 7:00 p.m. It would be out of nature for her to leave home without alerting anyone, as per family and acquaintances.

Suspicions:
Fotis may have been waiting for Jennifer when she finally returned after dropping her kids off at school, authorities suspect. On the night Jennifer vanished, he and Troconis allegedly traveled to Hartford to discard the trash bags carrying objects stained with Jennifer’s lifeblood.

Clues:
Jennifer hinted at the turmoil in her marriage in a blog post on March 12, 2012, wishing she was a strong woman and that confrontations did not frighten her in any manner. Jennifer called it quits on June 20, 2017, filing for divorce in Stamford. After the gradual breakdown of the marital relationship, she claimed Fotis was leading an increasingly autonomous lifestyle. She and her five children had to relocate. Jennifer wrote in her divorce papers that she was well aware that seeking – divorce and this motion would agitate him. She was sure Fotis would try and damage her in some way in retaliation. She also claimed she suspected he was committing adultery with his coworker Michelle Troconis, which was confirmed when the couple began dating publicly after their divorce.
Jennifer also testified that Fotis threatened to capture their children if she did not comply with his terms in the divorce proceedings and that he had purchased a gun that year. However, Fotis denied issuing threats and argued that he had purchased the gun legally for home safety.
