We recently gushed about how the MSI Stealth GS76 with its 11th Gen Intel processor had finally come close to breaking the rule that MSI Stealth laptops must be powerful, hot, and whining in their slimline chassis. It was nearly a dream laptop, giving everything to everyone… but at a hefty price. The MSI Stealth GS77 has Intel’s newest 12th Gen ‘Alder Lake’ CPU, DDR5 memory, and brand-new Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti graphics. We anticipated grandeur.
Performance of MSI Stealth GS77
We expected outstanding performance from the MSI Stealth GS77 because it has the greatest specifications we’ve ever seen. Inside is the 12th Generation Intel Core i9-12900H CPU, which has 14 cores (six performance and eight ‘efficiency’) and 20 threads. This is flanked by 64GB of brand new DDR5-4800 RAM and backed up by a PCIe 4.0 2TB hard drive. This resulted in a score of 7526 in the general PCMark 10 test, which is the quickest we’ve ever seen(!) It achieved 2942 in R15 and 17,107 in R23 in the processor-intensive Cinebench rendering tests, the quickest marks we’ve ever seen.
The MSI Stealth GS77 is equipped with the brand new Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti GPU and a whopping 16GB of GDDR6 RAM. With that much Graphics RAM, it can easily run Far Cry 6’s massive HD Texture pack. It received a score of 10,907 in 3DMark Time Spy.

Features of MSI Stealth GS77
The MSI GS77 appears more performance-oriented than feature-rich, but some intriguing features might go a long way. You’ll receive a fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.
In terms of design, it’s incredibly thin, measuring 20.8mm thick. Granted, we don’t expect much from even the greatest gaming laptops compared to some of the best Chromebooks, but 20.8mm is still thin enough to give it a sleek appearance and feel. Its RGB keyboard will be a pleasant addition for fans of the more gamer-oriented style, but we believe the design is modest and nearly basic in certain ways. That’s a positive thing in terms of broad appeal.
The built-in FHD webcam appears to be another worthwhile inclusion for working from home, and there’s also a camera lock that you can set to assure privacy once again.
Price of MSI Stealth GS77
According to rumors, the laptops start at $1,799 and go up to $4,199. One Swedish website lists it at 52,990 Kr, which corresponds to $5,638.16, giving us more information to work with.
It will undoubtedly be an investment, but we believe it might appeal to those looking for the ultimate portable gaming console. Keep an eye on this space for more developments.
MSI Stealth GS77 Design And Handling
With its all-black paint, the MSI Stealth GS77 appears as menacing as a stealth aircraft. The shiny logo on the lid can only be seen when the light hits it just right. The only color comes from the silver MSI logo beneath the screen and the weird, individually lighted RGB keys within – unless you choose to go black and turn them off. It’s fantastic. It’s also well-made. Despite the huge 17.3-inch screen, the lid bends only slightly when bent. The hinge isn’t the most rigid, but it provides adequate support for the screen.
