Supercell, known for hit mobile games like “Brawl Stars” and “Clash of Clans,” is making its debut at the event with a unique activation called “Bathroom Battlestation,” featuring Clash-themed public restrooms.

This marks a shift from their previous focus on gaming-specific events, as they aim to offer fans immersive experiences that extend beyond the games themselves, including interactive products and storytelling elements.

Neopets is another example of a gaming entity capitalizing on Comic-Con’s massive audience. The company highlights the importance of direct fan interaction and community engagement, with CEO Dominic Law emphasizing that Comic-Con, as the largest U.S. convention, is a key platform for building relationships with fans.

This approach aligns with Neopets’ ongoing commitment to connecting with its user base through in-person events and interactions.

The increased prominence of gaming at Comic-Con reflects the broader cultural rise of the medium, rather than a specific push from the convention organizers.
