Google Set to Launch AI-Powered Photo Eraser for iPhone and Android in May

Google said it’s giving everyone free access to some cool photo-editing tools that use smart computer tricks. These tools used to be only for certain Google phones and people who pay for extra Google storage.

Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light enhance photo quality effortlessly.

Starting May 15, more folks can use these tools, like the Magic Eraser which gets rid of stuff you don’t want in your pictures, Photo Unblur which makes blurry photos clear, and Portrait Light which fixes how the light looks in your photos.

These features will now work on more devices, including Pixel tablets. If you’re on a computer, you need a specific type of laptop or enough memory. For phones, you need to have a fairly recent Android or iPhone.

Expanded access includes Pixel tablets, specific Chromebooks, and Android/iOS devices.

Also, Google is giving more people access to their Magic Editor tool, which lets you do fancy edits like moving stuff around in your pictures or changing the sky color.

Everyone on Android and iPhones can do 10 of these edits each month for free. If you have a Pixel phone or pay for a lot of Google storage, you can do as many as you want.
