Images of a 3D-printed mockup of the iPhone SE 4 have surfaced, offering a preview of what Apple’s upcoming budget smartphone might look like.
Apple is rumored to release the new iPhone SE model in 2025, and it is expected to feature several design changes. Photos, released late Sunday, provide an early look at what could be in store.
The mockup, obtained from sources on Alibaba and shared by Macotakara, bears a striking resemblance to the iPhone 14, as Apple is reportedly reusing design elements from that model—a common approach for the iPhone SE series.
The 3D-printed model includes a faux 6.1-inch display and the TrueDepth notch, consistent with rumors.
In terms of dimensions, the mockup measures 146.7mm by 71.3mm (5.78 inches by 2.8 inches) and is 7.8mm thick. The display is bordered by a 2mm bezel.
At the bottom of the mockup, there is an asymmetric arrangement of speaker holes—three on one side and five on the other—surrounding a central USB-C port.
The back of the model features a single camera sensor without a camera bump. The size of the mockup allows it to fit into iPhone 14 cases, though there is a large empty space where the iPhone 14’s camera bump would be.
Other details include volume buttons similar in size and shape to those of the iPhone 14, while the mute switch is slightly smaller and positioned higher on the side.
Although the mockup offers a look into what the iPhone SE 4 might look like, it remains uncertain whether the final design will match these early visuals.
