Our standards

Analyzing Market exists to help readers understand cryptocurrency clearly and honestly. Every piece we publish aims to be accurate, fair, useful and free of hype. These guidelines describe how we research, write, review and correct our work, and they apply to everyone who contributes to the site.

Accuracy and fact-checking

Accuracy comes first. We verify claims before publishing, check figures against primary data, and link to original sources wherever possible. Numbers, dates, quotes and technical details are reviewed by an editor. If we cannot confirm something, we either leave it out or clearly label it as unconfirmed.

Sourcing and attribution

We prefer primary sources — official announcements, on-chain data, filings, and named experts — over rumour or second-hand reports. We attribute information to its source so readers can judge it for themselves, and we are transparent when a source is anonymous and why.

Independence

Our coverage is never for sale. No advertiser, partner or sponsor influences what we report or the conclusions we reach. Commercial and editorial functions are kept strictly separate. See our ethics policy for more.

News, analysis and opinion

We clearly distinguish straight news reporting from analysis and from opinion. Analysis and opinion reflect the author’s informed view, are labelled as such, and are never presented as objective fact or as financial advice.

Price data and predictions

Market data is aggregated from established providers. Our price predictions are algorithmic scenarios, not forecasts of fact — exactly how they are produced is set out in our methodology. Every prediction carries a clear risk disclaimer.

Use of AI

We may use software tools, including AI, to assist with research, data processing and drafting. A human editor is responsible for everything we publish: reviewing, fact-checking and editing it before it goes live. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated content.

Sponsored content and disclosure

Any sponsored or paid content is clearly labelled as such and kept visually distinct from editorial. Affiliate links are disclosed in line with our affiliate disclosure.

Authors and bylines

Articles carry a byline identifying the author, with a short biography and their areas of focus. Authors are accountable for their work and disclose relevant conflicts of interest.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and transparently. Our corrections policy explains how to report an error and how we handle it.
