Bitcoin
Bitcoin (BTC) is the first and largest cryptocurrency, created in 2009 by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. It runs on a decentralised blockchain secured by proof-of-work mining, with a fixed maximum supply of 21 million coins that makes it inherently scarce. Often called “digital gold,” Bitcoin is used as a store of value and a hedge against inflation. See the live Bitcoin price and prediction.
