Wallet

A crypto wallet stores the private keys that control your coins — it does not hold the coins themselves, which live on the blockchain. Wallets come as hot wallets (online and convenient) or cold wallets (offline and more secure). Whoever holds the keys controls the funds, which is why secure backups matter.
